What this is
PureScore is an entertainment quiz. Your answers are not medical, psychological or scientific data — they exist purely for fun and for the anonymous statistics shown on this site.
What we collect
When you take the test we store: your answers and computed score, the gender and age range you select, how long you spend on each question, the language you chose, your IP address, browser and device information (type, operating system, browser), your approximate location derived from your IP (country, region, city, postal code, approximate coordinates and time zone), the page and marketing campaign (UTM) that referred you, and timestamps. If you arrived through a friend’s shared link, we also store which result referred you. To reveal your exact score you choose a display name, which we store and show on your shareable score card; if you also leave your email address we store that too — and, only if you tick the optional box, your consent to receive PureScore updates by email.
Why we collect it
We use this data to calculate your score, to show aggregate anonymous statistics (like the average score), to prevent abuse and spam, and — if you gave us your email — to show you your result and occasionally send you PureScore updates. We do not sell your data.
Legal basis
We process this data based on your explicit consent, which you give by ticking the consent checkbox before starting the test. You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us.
Storage & retention
Data is stored securely on our hosting providers’ infrastructure (Vercel and Supabase/PostgreSQL) and kept for as long as the service operates, or until you ask us to delete it.
Sharing
We never sell or rent your data. It is only processed by the infrastructure providers that run this site (hosting and database), acting on our behalf.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time. Email us at hello@purescore.net and we’ll take care of it.
Age limit
This site is for adults only. If you are under 18, please do not take the test or submit any personal data.
